Qur’an Hifz Program
A structured and supportive path to memorizing the Qur’an, with guidance that strengthens recitation, discipline, and connection to faith.
Overview
The Olive Branch After-School Hifz Program gives young students a structured and supportive path to memorizing the Qur’an. With a focus on both consistency and personal growth, each child receives guidance that strengthens recitation, discipline, and connection to their faith.
The program runs in seasonal sessions through the school year, creating a welcoming environment where students build steady progress week by week. Session dates are shared with families before each session begins, insha’Allah.
Ages & requirements
Open to children ages 11 and under, welcoming beginners as well as those who have already started their memorization journey. No prior experience is required; students simply need the interest and commitment to learn.
Our approach ensures every child, regardless of skill level, feels supported and encouraged throughout the process.
Days, time & location
Classes are held Monday through Thursday, 2:15–3:30pm, with the option to attend two or four days per week depending on family schedules.
All sessions take place at 202 S. Summit Ave, Gaithersburg, MD. The consistent routine helps students stay focused while giving parents reliable scheduling.
A natural extension of the day
Hifz begins right after Social Activities end at 2:00pm, so Learning Center students can stay on site and flow straight into their memorization session, and outside families are warmly welcome too.
Ramadan in our classroomsBegin the journey of a lifetime.
Every child who learns to read and carry the Qur’an carries a light that never goes out, insha’Allah.
