Our Students, Our Year

Life at Olive Branch

Life at Olive Branch Learning Center is built around real experiences: sports teams, hands-on clubs, field trips, and joyful classrooms in Gaithersburg, Maryland. Here is what a year with us actually looks like.

Athletics

The Olive Branch Guardians.

The Olive Branch Guardians took the field for the first time this year, our very own soccer team, with a basketball team alongside it. Win or lose, every child learns what a team asks of them: showing up, working hard, and celebrating each other.

Girls and boys play, families cheer, and medal day is a memory the whole school shares.

Beyond the Classroom

Clubs, trips, and hands-on afternoons.

After-school enrichment includes woodworking, statistics, and nature programs, plus the after-school Qur’an Hifz program. Regular field trips connect learning to the real world.

Woodworking club

Real wood, real tools, real patience. Students measure, glue, clamp, and build projects they carry home with pride.

Field trips

From Baltimore’s Inner Harbor to local nature spots, trips are a regular part of the year, not a rare treat.

After-school Hifz

A structured path to Qur’an memorization, Monday through Thursday afternoons, open to ages 11 and under. Explore the Hifz Program
